Adventure:
Mount Olympus 7969'

Mount Olympus 7969'
Highest Peak in the Olympics
Jefferson County Highpoint

Your adventure begins as you hike the Hoh River Trail, through one of seven Temperate Rainforests in the world, passing under towering Douglas fir, Sitka spruce, Western hemlock, and Western redcedar along the way.
After breaking through the dense woodland, stepping into the alpine and
cresting the edge of the moraine guarding Blue Glacier, you will be treated to the best view on the Olympic Peninsula - Mt Olympus with its glaciers spilling down in icy sheets.  Snow and ice demand your attention as the sheer magnitude of the Olympus Massif weighs upon you.

Establish camp on Mount Olympus and enjoy sunset from the summit of Panic Peak.  Sleep surrounded by the stars in a magical mountain setting.  Refreshed and ready, the next day will be your summit bid.

Client Review

Since I was a kid, I've had a love for the mountains-hiking, skiing, and exploring the great Olympic National Park I was so fortunate enough to call my backyard. I've done countless hikes in the Park, but climbing Mt. Olympus has been something I have always wanted to do. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with ISO Adventures. I felt safe, educated, and truly exposed to areas of the mountain I probably never would have been to otherwise.

Sam and Troy are unbelievably knowledgeable in the area and really show a passion for sharing their experiences and adventures. Not only were we able to summit Olympus, we also explored other regions of the mountain including the Hoh and Humes Glacier. Further, Sam and Troy were open to tailoring the trip to my comfort level and desires (i.e. practicing mountaineering skills, just exploring the mountain, etc.). For those looking to take a trip with ISO, I would highly recommend it. You'll receive personalized guidance, hear incredible stories, and, most importantly, have a great time in the mountains!

Specifically for Mt. Olympus, I would recommend implementing a training regimen before you depart. I made an intention to go on several hikes beforehand with an appropriate amount of weight to make sure I was used to the load I would be carrying. Stairs are also a great way to ensure your legs are strengthened for the continuous amount of uphill you'll be experiencing! As a bonus, if you have the time, planning a short backpacking trip (1-2 nights) can help iron out any kinks before you embark on this 5-6 day trip. Again, thank you ISO for such an incredible experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more.
