The Sound Bikes & Kayaks Way
We specialize in private and one-on-one instruction. We like to keep our instructor/student ratio to no more than 1:2. This approach allows us to give you our undivided attention. In this way, our instructors can give immediate information, analysis and correction, letting you learn much more efficiently and safely. We are also able to answer your questions right on the spot without you getting lost in the crowd. With one-on-one instruction, the learning curve is shortened so you can go paddling and get out of the classroom!

Sea Kayaking Classes
Kayaking can be as mild or wild as you choose. Our kayaking instructors will teach you the skills you need to be on the water and paddle safely, knowledgably and skillfully. If you purchase a kayak from Sound Bikes & Kayaks, we will provide lessons as a big “Thank You” for shopping with us!

Call Sound Bikes & Kayaks with your questions and to set up your lesson schedule. If you do not have your kayak and gear, we will be happy to furnish you with rental equipment.
Cost of lessons: $40.00 per person per hour.

Whitewater Kayaking Classes
So, the 75% of the earth that is covered in water and is not an ocean is a RIVER and we should be on them having the times of our lives! In order for you to learn to do this safely and advance your skill level, Sound Bikes & Kayaks offers a series of whitewater classes that will educate new river kayakers and advance beginner/intermediate level kayakers.
Cost of classes: $100 per person. Length of class is 2-3 hours.
If you need to rent a kayak and gear, we have discount prices for students.
